The First Hard Plug For Flounder!

Flounder anglers, we now have a hard plug that is unique in its design and it is made for flounder and bottom fishing. It always stands up on its nose with the hook upright. You can’t knock it over and it always looks like it’s alive and feeding. You can drag it, hop or pop it, or let it drift along in the current. If you want to fish for something other than flounder just cast and retrieve it like a normal plug. This plug is great for walleye, bass, stripers, reds, trout, speckled trout and weakfish. It is also excellent for sight casting, to bedding fish. We had a lot of first reports on the original release of these plugs from bass fishermen using them on the bedding bass. It features internal rattles that attract the fish and call them in. No lure is easier to fish for flounder.

This is an old commercial lure created by Phil Ortiz back in the eighties and available now. This is a genuine meat hauler in the late summer and fall. Originally designed to fish open flats that had to have a long cast to cover the bottom. He designed it to just slow drag and pause along. If it bumped into structure, a simple pause will stand the hook up and allow it to be crawled over the debris. I hated and still hate to fish open featureless water, This plug makes it easy..
